Diagnostics

There are many different diagnostic tools available for Naturopathic health care.

Some of these include iridology, tongue & facial analysis, skin & nail analysis and a wide range of pathology testing.  Using a range of diagnostics allows us to look at each case from a variety of angles and provides a holistic mode of health care.

*     Iridology offers a non-invasive look at the patient’s iris to determine systemic function & vitality. Iridology is done by charting various iris colours and markings by looking into the eye using a high powered digital magnifying camera, displaying an image of Iris on the screen for you to see – the biggest challenge is getting your child to sit still long enough

*       Facial and skin analysis can provide clues to a person’s current nutritional status. Dark circles, pale areas, puffiness and general colour can be analysed and recorded easily in even the wriggliest of children!

*       Nail analysis provides a long-term look at mineral status. Ridges, bends, colours and spots all reveal various nutrient deficiencies

*       Various Independent pathology laboratories provide extensive testing for practitioners of complementary medicine. Testing of this sort gives us a scientific advantage when searching for answers that have not been available elsewhere. These types of pathology tests are not necessary for every patient but they are available if required.
